This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a Title I school in Miami Beach. My students are imaginative and inquisitive kids. Most of them come from underprivileged households, mostly non-English speakers. They are passionate about school, they have a great attitude towards learning.

The majority of my students come from low-income homes.

They are a group of bright and unique individuals who are eager to go back to normalcy. My main objective would be for them to be constantly encouraged to know their potentials and strive to always become better.

My Project

I am asking for a Exploring Money Financial Literacy Kit, along with special ink for students to to be able to print their work.

I have a specific lesson plan provided to help assist my students in learning more about financial literacy using the items in this kit.

In addition, it will complement their IB inquiry on 'How the World Works". To assist them I’m asking for ink for the printer so my students will be able to present their work and graphs on paper. This will provide students the opportunity to create and present their research.
