This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

How do hurricanes form? What is a tornado? I really want my students to become more familiar with the different types of weather that happens every day around them. I feel that by having these new weather books in our classroom will help get my students more interested in learning about the different types of weather.

My students are really interested in learning about extreme weather such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, blizzards, hurricanes, and floods.

Hurricanes, tornadoes, and thunderstorms are a reality for my students and I want them to be able to understand why they happen and what to do when they happen. Please help me get my students get more enthusiastic with learning about the different types of weather happening around them.
