This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The class would provide a safe and supportive space where participants can express and explore their emotions through poetry, art, and music. Students develop a greater understanding of their feelings and learn healthy ways to process and articulate their emotions.
The goal of the class is to use the therapeutic elements of poetry, art, and music to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve overall mental health.
Students experience increased emotional resilience, reduced anxiety, and a greater sense of calm.
It introduces students to coping strategies that can be integrated into their daily routines. Students develop effective coping mechanisms that help manage stress and improve their quality of life.
