My Students
This group of inquisitive, highly-engaged students is eager to embark on our next academic adventure.
As we delve into some of the psychological components addressed in various genres of contemporary literature we look to make relevant connections to our everyday lives, thus gaining a more nuanced understanding of our existence.
My Project
By reading literature that focuses on various aspects of diversity, students can build and reinforce a more nuanced understanding of our society.
As a result, students can gain a stronger sense of self and a more empathetic perspective towards the world we live in.
The titles chosen for this project represent a wide spectrum of literature that focuses on racial equality and social justice. Students need this level of variety to gain a better understanding of some of the relevant issues and problems faced by society in order to confidently address them.
