My Students
My students attend a public elementary school in Illinois where 100% of our students come from low income households. We are finally back in the classroom and loving every minute of it. With all the changes, we are looking to make the most of our time and make it as comfortable and safe as possible.
My Project
Things are moving along for our 21-22 school year. It's hard to believe it's already 1/4 over!
We have been enjoying exploring different creative outlets on Fridays since our school does not have a visual arts program.
Students have expressed interest in using clay to make small objects, and I thought the Air Dry Clay would be a great way to explore this interest. We are also in need of some new markers to draw with, and some colored paper to help keep our handouts organized.
I have also included some essentials such as printer toner and white out that help our 5th grade teachers provide what we need for the class.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
