Help me give my students opportunities to experience Chemistry with engaging labs, and hands-on opportunities. The equipment. will be used for 5 sections of high school Chemistry.
After a long period of time spent out of the classroom with the pandemic, my high school students are eager to learn and engage in Chemistry. They thrive with opportunities for hands on learning, to engage with new content material and to make Chemistry real.
My students come from a diverse variety of backgrounds and experiences.
They are motivated to learn about Chemistry by applying theoretical concepts to hands on practices.
My Project
I am a new teacher at Prospect, currently equipping my classroom for hands-on Chemistry. Right now, my room is a blank slate, and I want to have the supplies needed to run fun, educational, and hands-on laboratory experiences.
I would like enough materials so that I can have students work in lab groups of 3 students, and not need to share equipment with 2 or 3 other groups.
The equipment will be used over many years in the classroom, allowing for many generations of students to experience Chemistry in a positive way.
