My Project

I am requesting materials, like art supplies that will broaden my students' horizons and expand their view. My students come from economically disadvantage areas and don't always get to experience everything the world has to offer.

I am requesting tennis shoe keychains that will be welcome gifts to symbolize the walk that we will go on together for the year.

I am requesting art supplies like watercolors and paper that will allow them to create different mediums to express themselves. I am also requesting stuffed animals that will be birthday gifts and provide a birthday buddy for each student for when their birthday comes. These gifts help students feel a part of our community of our classroom.

The materials will be used to welcome students into the classroom and give them exposure to art and learning that they might not see normally. I want to be able to walk on an adventure with students, literally and figuratively. By exploring the world around us and learning about new things, they will continue their education in this grade.
