This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want some more materials in my classroom to use for my students to help them explore their senses and also help them self-regulate their emotions. By having this light table, my students can go to it when they need a break and explore the different colors and such to help them calm their bodies. Self-regulation is a very important skill for my students to have, so having materials in the classroom to help with this would be amazing. Also, many of my students have sensory needs, so by providing materials in the classroom for them to use will be truly beneficial to them.
