Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My Pre-K class is in a low-income and high-poverty area. Most of my students are faced with challenges both in the classroom and at home. Despite their daily challenges, they come to school every day eager to learn and try new things. I would love to say I try my best to provide them with a creative environment that makes them want to challenge themselves to reach new levels academically.
My students are creative, and always full of questions!
They love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
My Project
All students want to have fun and learn through play. They will always learn best through free, fun exploration and the use of a variety of sensory materials. These sensory materials, play dough, letters, numbers will be a fun unique way for all students to learn at their highest potential level of learning. These different sensory objects can help all children make real-life connections to letters, writing and reading and emotional feelings children experience in the world around them. I assure you my students will make the best of all these materials.
