My Students
Many of my students come from low-income, non-English speaking families who face different needs and challenges everyday. They lack the resources to help them achieve their academic goals at home. Being at school is where they can feel happy, creative, and special so they can reach their potential.
This year I have been blessed with an exciting, curious, mixed ability group of students.
Each student in our class completes a special piece to our classroom puzzle. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds and have varied skills and needs.
My students love visual and hands-on activities. We love to experiment, investigate, research, explore, create, think and build. We greatly appreciate your time and consideration
My Project
Books are vital in a child's life. It helps develop not only a love for reading but assist with building so many other literacy skills. Some of the skills will include the five components of reading, which are comprehension, building vocabulary, phonemic awareness, phonics and fluency.
My students will love learning about the ocean with these items!
These books (with pictures and information), hands-on sea animals and clay will help them take their learning to the next level. They will use they to help create their own understanding of these animals.
These will help enhance their love of ocean animals.
We will read about and explore different animals and learn about the different life cycles.
What a great way to make learning fun for my young intercity students. They can explore things they can not see first hand! Hands on fun for all my students, boys and girls!
