Explore Paper Making and Book Binding

Help me give my students the experience of creating their own books using recycled paper and handmade paper. Help to encourage recycling through paper making using the Arnold Grummer Dip into Papermaking classroom kit.

My Project

The items requested will be used to make paper, using recycled paper, natural materials and a Dip into papermaking classroom kit. Students will explore the history of papermaking throughout cultures across the globe. Students will explore book binding and use of natural materials to create story books to share with families. The project will expand into Origami and other paper crafting through time. We will expand the unit into how papermaking has helped to shape the world we live in now. Influencing cultures and the exchange of information through history.
