Help students explore the wilderness of New York City! I teach science to 9th through 12th graders. Our students are part of a high-need community. Many of our students have special needs.

We are studying nature in New York City. The students are learning about ecosystems, conservation, and the wildlife in our backyard. My students want to go bird watching but we have no binoculars.

One of our goals as a school is to provide our students with deeper experiences of the natural world. Binoculars are one tool that provides students with the opportunity to observe birds and other wildlife more closely. To gain a deeper understanding of and appreciation for the nature right here in New York City!

Your help will provide my students with the opportunity to experience nature in a way that they never have before.
