This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In today's world STEM education is becoming more and more essential to a child's education, it begins at an early age. Every student deserves an opportunity to explore and experience STEM learning when they enter school and that is not the case due to limited resources in the classroom.
Having STEM resources in my classroom would give my students the opportunity to work together to understand how things work, and collaborate with one another while improving their reading, math, science, and language art skills!
The use of STEM resources in my classroom would give my students the opportunity to explore freely, create new ideas, understand STEM concepts in more concrete ways, and encourage them to think critically about how to solve problems. All my students are coming from low-income households and I should ensure that every student that enters my classroom has the chance to experience the benefits that STEM provides.
