Explore and Imagine in Kindergarten

Help me give my students a chance to explore and imagine in their kindergarten classroom.

My Project

I have not taught kindergarten in four years. I will need to do some things to give my five- and six-year-olds the best experience possible.

The items that I requested will help us all have a successful year.

I work at a Title I school, and most of the students do not have various toys or school supplies and come in knowing very little.

I would love to give my students the skills to imagine, explore, and learn to read in kindergarten. These will be lifelong skills.

Also, I do not have many toys for the students to play with at playtime. I know they would love the ones that I have requested (markers, rocket, storytelling kits, Legos, magnetic balls, sand toys). This will help my students use their imagination and creativity and apply it to various activities that are presented to them. Along with the sand toys to be used out at recess and when we play with moon sand.

The shelf and magnetic bags would assist me in keeping things tidy and organized throughout my day. The daubers would help with letter and number activities and stations.

All of these items will get used almost daily and would be greatly appreciated.
