Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is the first time these students are in school. I want them to feel comfortable and excited to come to school every day. I want them to be able to recreate new and exciting experiences with their friends. Having new materials will allow them to explore different food from different cultures as well as work on their fine motor skills when completing puzzles.
Imaginary play is very important for their development at this age.
Having new materials such as dinosaurs, food, puzzles, and games will allow these children to experience using their imagination and creativity. These materials will also allow students to learn to work together with their classmates.
