My Students

My students are curious and want to learn more all of the time! They are resilient and are always up for a new challenge. Many of our kids come from low-income families, so giving them these experiences would give them a more worldly view.

In the current world we are living in, and technology is prevalent in their everyday lives.

Having access to iPads in the classroom will help enhance students' technology skills to be better prepared for our tech-driven world. Due to the accessibility of technology in schools, students are learning to become more resourceful. Adding innovative technology into the classroom will foster conversations to keep kids curious.

My Project

These iPads will allow students to communicate with other students who do not speak English in our classroom. This will allow them to use different conversation apps so every student can feel apart of our classroom.

Along with the communication piece, students will experience virtual reality while using the iPad and other apps.

With the iPad, students will get to explore different science topics through virtual reality. Some examples include diagrams of the heart, observing different rocks, and distinguishing the body's different functions.

Students will also be able to use iPads to program robots that perform certain functions. This will allow students to develop coding skills, which will prepare them for future careers they may enjoy.
