My Project
Between the era of Covid and the lack of funding in public schools, students are struggling to learn through experience in the ways that help them become curious, engaged, and thoughtful citizens of the new world. Using this set of Oculus devices I can provide small group guided experiences to settings like the Great Barrier Reef, the Natural History Museum, the Smithsonian, the International Space Station and so much more! These Oculus Virtual Reality devices can connect my students to the larger world, help them develop a sense of their place within the larger world and hopefully inspire them to change that world for the better. I love my students, and they love science, but putting them inside the science? That's something that can have a real impact on their learning, their confidence, and their futures. Please help me provide these experiences to my students by funding this project.
