My Project
Students in my classroom live in a very small town in the beautiful Appalachian mountains. We have economic constraints and not much extra for supplies that would support students’ learning but I believe they are as deserving of the learning supports such as hands-on math practice manipulatives and escape rooms that bring our learning to life as a memory made in the process. After all, that’s what they’ll remember best! The academic goals that will be achieved through the math manipulatives will be showing equal groups and other multiplication + division strategies as well as practicing and reinforcing place value with the dice. The world map will give visual reference to discussions that include countries or continents around the world for social studies. Office supplies will help me showcase their work.
Please consider helping me provide more for my class and the other third grade classes of our small town school to educate and guide the youth who will eventually set the pace for our town’s future!
