My students need headphones to use with the computers I have in my classroom to view videos and animations to aid in learning about the human body.

My Students

My students come into my classroom expecting to learn something new and exciting about the human body, and I do my best to deliver every day! The human body is so fascinating, and my students love learning about it because well.. everyone has a body and we like to know how we work! My classes provide a jump start into a health care career by giving students the foundation to study in numerous health care fields. I try to provide engaging, hands-on and real world experiences that get students interested in the medical field.

Our school consists of about 2000 students in a suburban area with a diverse group of Caucasion, Hispanic, Pacific Islander and Asian students.

Each one of them, like students from around the globe, enjoy the technology that our modern world embraces. I want to put more of that technology to use in an engaging way for students to see how incredibly amazing the human body is.

My Project

I use online applications in my classroom to help students experience the human body in an engaging fashion. We watch videos, view animations, and even perform virtual surgeries! Having a full classroom of these interactions blaring from 30 computers is very distracting. We need headphones so each of my students can immerse themselves in the full experience without hearing how the student next to them is proceeding through their virtual knee replacement.

Experiencing online practicals is preparing my students to be future healthcare workers - help us achieve our goals through your donation.
