This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are mostly minority students and most of them come from a low-income family background. They are very active and enjoy coming to school and learning science.
They are always ready to learn new skills and explore new opportunities, but the unavailability of resources makes it hard for them to understand some of the abstract concepts that I teach; therefore, the need to explain the concepts in ways that make them real, captivating and interesting becomes imperative.
My students enjoy completing class projects that involve hands-on experiments, programming, art and research, which helps them express their understanding of chemistry concepts in their own way by creating new meanings of their discoveries.
My Project
My physical science students are struggling students who already took the class and failed. They are eager to get it right this time around but unfortunately, I don't have enough resources to help them succeed.
My students need resources like lab-manuals, activity worksheets and project papers that would help them understand STEM concepts that are covered in a physical science.
My students need resources from Teachers-Pay Teachers to help them relate content concepts to real life experiences. STEM concepts are easy to learn and understand when there are enough resources, therefore, my students need online resources to help them succeed. Thank you for supporting us.
