My Project

Learning through play is such an important part of education, especially for our younger students. Our class of 21 vibrant kindergarteners is full of curiosity and wonder. As we explore cultures and places from around the world, we would like our students to have an opportunity to learn and explore through play. Whether they are looking at books, putting together a floor puzzle of the continents, or trying on a variety of different hats, popular in various cultures, they will be learning in a tangible way that will stay with them forever.

Learning through play will help them deepen their understanding of the world around them, which can result in acceptance, understanding, and appreciation for cultures that are different from their own.

Also, it will provide our students with opportunities to practice important executive functioning skills, like self-regulation, paying attention, and controlling their impulses.
