Experience Fitness Is a New Way!

My Students

My students come from all walks of life. They have different challenges and yet they come to school and have a strong desire to learn and better themselves and others around them. They cheer each other on no matter how diverse they may be. My students surround each other and work together to make each other feel included. They look for ways to help each other. They have a strong desire to strengthen their communities and families and make a better life.

My Project

For some, exercise comes naturally. You crave the exhaustion and the ensuing endorphin rush of your body saying, “Hey, nice job today,” like a supportive coach in a ’90s sports film.

The rest of us need a bit more coaxing.

Luckily, VR exists. You can get a surprising amount of exercise “by accident” with a bunch of the games. If you’ve ever thought you’d be better at aerobics if there were swords involved or wished the rowing machine might plunge you into a stealthy spec ops mission. Through VR it will apply to all students and provide an opportunity to learn through their lenses of video games.

Students will be able to enhance and learn how to incorporate a life changing fitness habit through VR and lead a more healthy habit of exercise.
