Help me give my students an expanded Graphic Novel & Manga section in our library. In addition to being the most popular section of the library, graphic novels and manga can help "reluctant readers" enjoy the library.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Graphic novels and manga are the most popular books in our library, yet make up a small portion of the collection. Help us expand this section with additions that appeal to a wide variety of readers!

Many of the requested materials consist of specific recommendations from students, such as Avatar the Last Airbender and Dragon Ball Z.

Other additions include Coretta Scott King Award winner The New Kid by Jerry Craft and the graphic novel adaptation of Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time.
