Expanding the Classroom Library

Help me give my students choice books that are popular in my classroom. Each quarter, students choose a book to read with a group, and these are the titles that students have recently enjoyed.

My Project

I love that my students show up every day--willing to be engaged. It's my job to match them up with good books that will speak to them and foster their love for reading.

My goal is to spark and hold my students' love for reading.

Everyone has different interests and will like different books--therefore, I seek to offer a variety of genres and authors in my classroom library. Our school no longer has a library budget, so this is how I have been acquiring new books for our students over the years. I love when students return from reading a book and are moved by it--whether the book was a mirror or a window for them. Thank you.
