Help me give my students a way to participate in more eSports with game switches, we only have one and most games need three to four.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Binkley's classroom raised $752

My Project
TVHS in Loveland, Colorado, has recently started an eSports program, building from the ground up. Currently, we only have the equipment for students to play Rocket League. What games we can participate in, for this CHSAA-sponsored sport, is decided by what devices we have and how many of them we have.
The current students on our eSports team are largely at-risk students of one type or another, and I have seen a clear increase in their engagement and sense of community in our school.
I feel that we could reach and engage more students if we had the chance to compete in a wider array of games. Doing so requires buying additional consoles and other equipment. Other than consoles, which games we can compete in are decided by CHSAA and the website PlayVS, which coordinates matches. Many of the games we could compete in require 3-4 separate Nintendo Switches, when we currently only have one. For equity's sake, I want to be able to provide the equipment for playing eSports, rather than relying on students to bring their own devices from home.
This team is starting small, but I know many of my students have a passion for video games and would benefit from a better sense of belonging. The eSports community has even grown large enough that many colleges offer scholarships for eSports players. That is one more way that I feel this team can improve students overall education, engagement, and opportunities. I appreciate your help in opening more doors for my students, both socially and academically.
