Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The hydroponic system will make our abiotic classroom self sustaining! As a live classroom, with 15 animals, my students get to experience the animal side of the eukaryotic domain daily, help me supplement this learning by helping me add the plant kingdom as well. My students are come from very diverse backgrounds and majority are from low income areas. Allowing them to experience the natural world in ways they may not before really helps expand their learning not just of biology content but of the world around them.
