Expanding Our Makerspace!

My students need to expand their Makerspace. I would like to add some Ozobots, palm-sized robots, to their repertoire. We also need additional storage space for our recycled building supplies!

My Students

All students deserve to succeed. Our STEM classroom is an all-inclusive environment. All students in grades 5-8 are able to take this course. Some students who struggle with traditional learning excel with this hands-on, minds-on curriculum.

My students love a challenge!

Whether it is 3D designing and printing or the challenge to build a working rover, every student is a valuable member of a team of inventors and problem solvers. Our classroom is a community of learners where everyone can succeed!

My Project

My students love to create, build, explore, and investigate. There seems to be no limit to their enthusiasm and curiosity. I am always looking for new ways to challenge them!

Help me bring Ozobots, palm-sized robots, to my students!

I learned about these robots in Atlanta, GA, at the National Science Teachers Association Conference. Ozobots can be used for all grade levels as programming can be done with color-coded lines drawn with a marker or by writing an actual program on a Chromebook using software called Blockly. My students will be able further develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with these robots.

We also need some additional storage space to put all the recycled material we use for our engineering creations. Can you help us continue to build our Makerspace?
