Help me give my students I'm seeking ways to make learning more engaging for my four and five-year-old students. Since they can get bored quickly, using different manipulatives and materials will help reinforce their learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project delves into the vibrant world of gardens and the diverse living organisms that thrive within them. Throughout our exploration, we will cover several engaging topics and essential skills:
Science:
- Investigating the growth cycles of a variety of plants and animals, observing how they develop from seeds or hatchlings to fully mature specimens over time.
- Understanding the fundamental requirements for plants and animals to flourish, including sunlight, water, soil nutrients, and the right environmental conditions.
- Learning about the various methods people use to cultivate food, from planting and nurturing crops in home gardens to larger agricultural practices that ensure sustainable food production.
- Keeping a detailed journal to document our observations, enabling us to track changes in the garden ecosystem, record growth patterns, and reflect on our learning experience.
Through these activities, we will gain a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of life in gardens and the importance of nurturing our natural surroundings.
The students also will create their own garden using different materials, including recycled materials.
