Expanding Our Art of 3D Printing and Adding Laser Cutting.

Help me give my students an expanded ability to print and finish their designs in 3D on 2 more printers and engrave and cut designs with a laser, giving more students the ability to work at once!

My Students

Our school is a second-year public charter school serving students in the rural communities of Bladen County and it’s surrounding counties. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds and are exceptionally creative. We nurture that creativity in the art room by focusing on integrating technology into Visual Arts using 3D printing and graphic design.

As our mission states:

My Project

My students are jumping full force into 3D printing, both making designs and finding designs to make their work better. I am in awe of the reach of their ideas.

By adding two more printers, we could simultaneously print for more students at once, and Using laser cutting and engraving, we can bring their artwork to new materials and cut precision pieces for their designs.

The ideas and creations of my students inspire me to reach further and provide them with more ways to play out their vision. I try every day to provide them with every opportunity to push themselves and their ideas to the fullest!
