My Project

Enhancing Teaching Practices for Students with Special Needs

As a dedicated moderate to severe special education teacher with 10 years of experience, I'm committed to continuous learning and growth.

To enhance my teaching practices in ELA, math, classroom management, and data collection, I'm requesting funding for specific books that will support my professional development.

My Goals

- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in special education

- Improve student outcomes in ELA and math

- Develop effective data collection methods to inform instruction

The books I've selected will provide me with the knowledge and tools to better support my students with special needs. As an intern support provider, induction support provider, master teacher, and mod/sev department chair, I'm committed to sharing my learning with colleagues and supporting their professional growth.

By staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices, I'll be better equipped to help my students reach their fullest potential. Your support will directly impact the lives of my students and contribute to their academic and personal growth.

I'm committed to providing my students with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in adulthood. To support this goal, I'm also seeking funding for a Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) gift card to purchase a unit from SpedAdulting. This unit will enable me to incorporate technology-based learning and prepare my students for real-world applications.

With the TpT gift card, I'll be able to purchase the SpedAdulting vocational unit and access high-quality, functional materials that will support my students' transition to adulthood. Your support will make a difference in my students' lives, empowering them with the skills they need to succeed.
