My Students
My students have great potential in the visual arts and the goal is to create at home art kits for them so that their growth in the visual arts is not hindered.
Many students at my school do not have the resources to ensure their success.
These students are very creative, innovative and continue to be enthusiastic about their learning in spite of the current Covid-19 pandemic.
My Project
These art supplies will help my elementary students have a well-rounded distance learning educational experience through the use of visual arts. We plan on using these materials to add creative touches to our art pieces. These art pieces are a culmination of our cross-curricular learning targets. In Kindergarten through to 5th grades, in visual art we read, discuss and analyze popular literature, then draw our interpretations of these literary pieces. In visual art, we often times will create visual interpretations of our thoughts, opinions and understanding of these written texts.
