Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is an opportunity for my students to learn how to run and maintain a business. They will be in charge of everything, from the proposal, to the business plan, marketing plan, sale prices and the creation of the merchandise. The goal is for the students to design and make various school spirit gear such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, mugs and cups. We will sell the items at pep rallies and sports games to teachers, students, staff and parents. They will be learning about finance and budgeting. The money earned will pay for classroom projects, fieldtrips and snacks.
