This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been blessed with an energetic, active group of learners this year. Many of the students need to move and exert that energy as they learn. This project is aimed to help them channel that energy into a productive activity that will allow them to continue to learn. The bikes and wobble cushion will allow students to cycle or wobble quietly while working or concentrating on their assignments at hand. My student with ADHD will particularly benefit from the bikes and wobble pillows. The pillows also serve as a sensory tool with different textures that can help soothe students who has sensory needs.
