My Project
Exercising while working on school work can be tremendously beneficial for students. Exercising has numerous benefits on the health side of things but also with the academic side. Exercising will increase the blood flow to your brain, which can help you stay more focused and will result in more accomplished work.
My students are considerably more focused and less likely to engage in disruptive activity when they are able to exert physical energy while doing their work.
The product that I have selected is called the DeskCycle. Currently, my students are using a variety of sensory tools to help them exert physical energy to help them remain productive at school. It is beneficial for them to run in the gym, jump on a trampoline, or go on a swing. So, by adding another option, of the DeskCycles, my students will be able to get these same benefits without having to leave their desks. This would be extremely efficient as students wouldn't need to take as many breaks to have their sensory needs met. The DeskCycle helps students maintain focus through movement and exercise. In addition to increasing concentration, the DeskCycle helps students reduce anxiety and promotes exercise.
Our students would benefit from the DeskCycles in so many areas. They would be put to good use for all my students to help them stay focused and achieve their goals. We humbly ask for your consideration in donating to the DeskCycles and thank you so much for your time!
