This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are amazing! They are geared up and ready to learn new and innovative skills and sports; they are self-starters. Our students want to learn and are hands-on in their approach to learning.
Our school is in a high needs, high poverty area.
Even with the obstacles our students face on a daily basis, they dress up and show up to learn. Our students take advantage of every opportunity that comes their way and are grateful for those opportunities.
Bringing new and innovative skills to our students keeps them enthusiastic about Physical Education and lifelong exercise to keep them healthy and fit.
My Project
With the jump ropes and workout dice my students will be able to continue their exercise program while distance learning from home. Our students understand the importance of keeping up with moderate to vigorous exercise at least 4 days a week and these items will help them continue their fitness progress.
We emphasize lifetime fitness and nutrition to our students and they always put in the effort on a daily basis to participate at a high level.
I am excited to be able with these items to give my students an opportunity to have equipment at home they can use on a daily basis to exercise while we are not in our normal classroom.
