My Students

My students have worked vigorously at becoming the best that they can be.They have an interest in starting an intramural league and have a student body to do so.

My students vary from elementary autistic to emotionally disturbed populations.

I work in a special education setting in an inner city neighborhood. Our students receive free lunch! Most of our students are in need of instructional supervision. They recently have taken an interest in playing basketball. Both populations enjoy the competition and receive multiple social and physical benefits from interaction.

My Project

My students will not only use them to improve on the skills of the sport such as dribbling ,passing and shooting.But we plan on implementing a yearly intramural basketball league. With special events throughout the school year such staff student game, and staff on staff while students learn to keep track of statistics and how to apply them in an logical applicable fashion.

This donation will enrich their physical education experience of our students, and instill confidence and convey handwork and teamwork philosophies.

This will translate into a positive concept and self image and improve the behavior of our children.
