This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have amazing students. They are interested in learning about the latest science explorations. Our conversations are exciting and filled with inquiry.

These students carry a lot of burden with them.

Whether it is stresses from the home or social life. Imagine what is like to be a 12 year old that does not have the Prefrontal Cortex to balance themselves. What you have is an Amígdala that controls every aspect of their life. These students need an outlet to occupy their minds.

This is why I am requesting the stress exercise toys. I see my students make fists as they bottle up their anger. They need a channel to reduce the burden. I’m requesting the stress toys to transfer their energy into something more productive. I greatly appreciate any support.
