Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Exercise and Mindfulness corner is designed to support my students' social-emotional development, self-regulation, and overall well-being. Available to my students will include a place to do stretches or bounce away their worries or to take a learning break.
The corner will also include poster ideas for stretching, deep breathes or giving a stuffed buddy a hug.
Giving my student many choices and options of how to help themselves I am confident they will learn to find what works best so they are ready for learning. Self-regulation through mindfulness or exercise is very important to help my students be their best learners
