Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The art room should be a magically messy place, full of opportunities for organized chaos and creativity. We are in need of two updates to our creative space that will help us safely move about the messy fun (and clean up our spills without any spills). Having a classroom floor that is tile makes for easy clean up when paint and glue are splashed, but tricky to keep students safe.
We are in need of two new rugs in the art room: one to host our creative meetings before and after we create at the tables, and another to keep water off the floor near the sink.
I am excited to also have star spots to assign students places to sit during carpet activities, and help them get organized into teams as we begin and end art lessons.
