My Students

My students are ages 3-5 with various special needs. They thrive in a learning space that has various types of toys, reading materials, and basic school supplies that will help everyday learning. My students come from low-income homes and do not always have a comfortable place to go home to, receive the supports needed, or cannot afford resources to help with learning.

My Project

My students will be able to learn basic cognitive, math and number recognition skills all while having fun. The activities will enhance my students teamwork and social and emotional skills. They will provide different and fun small group activities.

The activities will help my students learn basic STEM while having fun.

The Bee-Bots will provide my students ways to learn problem solving skills. It also helps with counting and one-to-one correspondence. The great thing about the Bee-Bots is it teaches our young learners basic coding skills and step by step directions.
