My Project

Our students are eager to learn. They are motivated and excited to read engaging stories offered through this magazine. Storyworks provides rich stories that support exciting reading experiences for our students. Storyworks stories are not only written with my students interests in mind but also their learning abilities. Through the diverse tools Scholastic provides, I am able to support each of my students and meet them where they are academically. This magazine shares with my students not only current events but also the events of the past. Students will learn about these events and get to show off their learning through the many resources that are offered through the purchase of this magazine. Storyworks does an amazing job of shedding light on historical events and helping students understand the facts of the events of our history. Storyworks doesn't just write about historical events, they also focus on the diverse students and people that our students will interact with in their world and highlights the amazing things they are doing in our society. Talk about a motivator!! This curriculum helps students to find compassion, joy, and motivation to do more. It teaches them that the world is at their fingertips and they can do anything they want (they watch it happen in this magazine.) But wait, there's more... Storyworks takes it even further than the stories in the magazines, but also offers and online component with amazing activities to do with every part of this magazine. We will use these magazines and online resources daily throughout the year. Our students love Storyworks time!
