My Students

This year I am blessed with 24 amazing students who come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. We are blessed to have students here from other countries in Asia as well as other parts of the world. More than one third of our students come from low-income households. Our school is located in the suburbs. I strongly believe that part of my responsibility is to help my students discover that learning happens in many different areas of the room as well as with different resources and choices.

We are continuing to transform areas in our classroom into comfortable areas with diverse learning activities and choices.

Our students will be able to thrive this desirable environment.

My Project

Osmo will allow students to complete many learning activities during our center time. Each child can focus on spelling or word building activities as well as other learning endeavors. They will also be able to extend math skills using tangrams and equation work with the math supplies.

Students will be able to excel with individual choice of learning activities each day through Osmo!

Making choices in individual learning based on interest will allow students to continue to grow as lifelong learners. Using technology in a way to enhance learning will allow students who thrive with technology to continue to feel successful in learning.
