My Project
I am a new, first-year teacher teaching second grade starting in Fall 2022. We are a small, rural public school. I want my second graders to get excited about reading. Building them a classroom library will make it easier for the kids to see all of the different genres and subjects that will be available to them to explore. These bins would help to separate the books into easy-to-see and find categories so the kids are able to find the best book for them that matches their own individual interests. Having these bins will also help to create an organized and interesting learning environment for my students.
