Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want my students to be excited to pick up a book and read during our independent reading time. My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students and create the love of getting lost in a good book.

My goal is to provide high interest books at a reachable reading level for my students that they will not want to put down.

Some examples of book sets (among others) I would like to add to my library are the "Bad Guys" book series and the "Owl Diaries" book series. These books are exciting, are "chapter books", and have picture support to encourage growth and reading comprehension!
