Help me give my students the best possible learning environment. Being a new teacher I have not acquired classroom decor and storage. This would truly help our classroom!

My Students

I teach at public elementary school on the island of Maui. Our school is a Title I school with a large socioeconomically disadvantaged student population. 65% of our students have free or reduced lunch. Students speak many language and come from a variety of backgrounds. Most students that attend our elementary are English Language Learners. Students benefitting from this project are in a kindergarten class. This is their first exposure to learning and a classroom and my mission is to create the best place for them to learn.

My Project

These materials will create a more organized and nurturing environment for my students! Materials used for storage make a classroom run more efficiently and allows students to be independent. This is the first year of exposure of school for these students. These products such as the carpet squares will give the students an area that is efficient for learning. This will also teach them to be mindful of other students space. The organizational materials will allow us to organize centers and small group materials. Our school doesn't provide color printers and in kindergarten I like to brighten up our classroom as much as possible!
