Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project will be used to help bring educational materials that my students can relate to. My students need books in their native language as well as in English. My ESL students are excited to learn, but this project will help me to teach them with their culture in mind. My classes consist of students who speak Vietnamese, Arabic, Spanish, and a few other languages. The curriculum books and games will allow me to keep my classes exciting, as well as educational. I also travel to seven different schools around the city, and the wagon is to assist me in carrying all of the supplies needed to teach my students in grades Kindergarten thru 12th grade.
