I teach primary grades at a very large rural public school. 48% of our school is economically disadvantaged. All of our students receive free breakfast and free lunch. My kiddos love to learn. They are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging activities. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. My students come from all different types of backgrounds, some with regular exposure to books and stories, others with very little "outside the classroom" experience. Truly, they are my inspiration to be the best teacher I can be!
My Project
My students love to share! Whether it is coming up and using the white board or sharing their journals, they love being actively involved in their education. The small dry erase boards in our classroom are heavily used throughout the day and are quickly wearing out. This black dry erase board will add excitement to our lessons and discussions on a daily basis! The bright neon markers will grab the attention of each student and encourage classroom participation. My goal is to make learning fun for every student every day! These materials will inspire creativity and active learning experiences. Thank you for taking the time to view our classroom project!
