This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a new teacher to St. Louis Public Schools and I am asking for assistance with reading materials for my students. I am teaching at a school for English Language Learners who may not have strong English speaking skills.
My intention is to provide students a variety of texts to familiarize them with reading whilst also peaking their interest in the stories told.
I have found books that consist of children from many different cultures and backgrounds as well as well known stories to ensure that all of my students feel presented.
