Exceptional Students Sensory Wonderland

Help me give my students the sensory tools they need to enhance their learning, including sensory mats and drawing tablets that will allow them to have sensory input while learning valuable skills in the classroom.

My Project

My students are exceptional students with a wide array of disabilities who learn in a different way than other students. Many of my students require sensory input on a regular basis during their learning day at school. Creating a sensory-rich room is essential for supporting students with various sensory needs, helping them learn more effectively.

This project connects to real-world issues of inclusivity and accessibility in education.

My students will be able to explore these tools in this sensory-rich room that can help meet their different learning styles and needs, making connections through their own experiences and the importance of learning so they can have a part in community building.

These sensory mats and drawing tablets are necessary for my students to learn in an efficient way so that they can be successful in future endeavors beyond this classroom. These tools will allow them to build coping skills so they can learn the skills they need to be successful in their educational journey from now to graduation.
