Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am privileged to teach 8th grade language arts. My students are change-makers! My students are bright, motivated children with a thirst for knowledge. Each student brings something new perspective to the table. All have the ability to do amazing things with the right support. These students deserve resources, and I hope you all will be able join me in supporting them on their learning journey.
My Project
My students crave engaging tasks that allow them to dive into the novels that we use throughout the year. Many of these task incorporate real conversations about white privilege, capitalism, race, social construct, racism, and etc. into our daily discussions. My students deserve quality tasks and resources, and I hope you all will be able to join me in supporting them on their learning journey. In order to provide those resources, I often purchase quality tasks from Teachers Pay Teachers from my own wallet. Help me increase the number of exceptional, dynamic tasks I can provide them by increasing the fund we have available to purchase materials.
